Eastern Quoll
A rare animal on the mainland of Australia and now mainly found in Tasmania.
This animal is cuter, smaller and softer looking than the common Tiger Quoll that occasionally killed our chooks on Kingsgate Station in the mountains of the eastern fall of Glen Innes.
I did this drawing for students at a wildlife artist workshop in Canberra.

Very competent technically in the rendition of different textures and subtle use of colour. The light and darks counterbalance each other, enhancing the overall aesthetics of the composition. Judge’s remark.
